Content Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-28
skatehub.tv ("skatehub," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of skaters, event organizers, brands, photographers, and other contributors whose content, likeness, or material appears on this platform. This page explains how ownership of intellectual property is treated across the site.
1. General ownership principle
Unless a piece of content on skatehub.tv is accompanied by an explicit statement of ownership, license, or attribution, intellectual property rights in that content are presumed to remain with the person, event, or brand it relates to or represents.
This means that, by default:
- Rights to content associated with a skater belong to that skater.
- Rights to content associated with an event belong to the organizer or entity running that event.
- Rights to content associated with a brand belong to that brand.
skatehub.tv does not claim ownership over such material simply by hosting, displaying, or making it available on the platform.
2. Photographs and images
Unless an image displayed on skatehub.tv is explicitly credited or licensed to another party (such as a photographer, media outlet, or brand), ownership of that image is presumed to default to the subject of the photograph — that is, the skater, individual, event, or brand depicted in the image.
This default applies specifically to images where no other rights holder is identified. It does not override any credit, watermark, license notice, or copyright statement that is explicitly attached to a specific image.
3. No waiver of third-party rights
Nothing in this policy transfers, waives, or diminishes any intellectual property rights held by photographers, videographers, sponsors, media partners, or other third parties who may hold rights to specific content under separate agreements, licenses, or applicable copyright law. Where such rights exist and are documented, they take precedence over the default assumptions described above.
4. Reporting concerns
If you believe that content on skatehub.tv misrepresents ownership, infringes your intellectual property rights, or has been used without appropriate permission, please contact us at hello@skatehub.tv with details of the content in question. We will review such requests and take appropriate action, which may include correcting attribution or removing content.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
