Vincent Milou takes Malto on a tour of Paris' most iconic spots in latest Skaters in Cars episode

October 30th 2026

After kicking things off in the Valley with Paul Rodriguez, SLS and BMW's reboot of Skaters in Cars just took its first trip overseas. For episode 2, Sean Malto is back behind the wheel, and this time it's Vincent Milou riding shotgun through Paris, his adopted city.

This time, Milou plays tour guide, taking Malto through some of the most iconic skate spots in Paris. The episode dropped on SLS's YouTube channel on October 29, a year after Milou won SLS Paris at Roland-Garros in front of a home crowd and just weeks after making the final there again. The two go way back, so it's a ride between friends, which is exactly what this show does best.

The ride

Same as in the P-Rod episode, the wheels are courtesy of BMW, a long way from the whatever-was-on-hand cars Chris Nieratko used to cruise around in back in 2018. This time, it's an M3. Milou was clearly a fan, joking that if he'd known there was a car up for grabs, he might have tried a little harder 😏. And there is one: this season's BMW M MVP Award hands the tour's standout man and woman a BMW M2 for a year. SLS Tokyo is still to come, Vincent.

Funny thing is, Milou already has a car sponsor of his own, and it isn't BMW. He told Jenkem last year that he rides for Toyota, which mostly means he gets a car for free. Hopefully nobody at Toyota minds seeing him ride shotgun with the competition for an episode.

A tour of the city's classics

First things first: breakfast. The episode kicks off the most Parisian way possible, at a boulangerie, where the two split a croissant before heading to the first spot.

Earlier this month, Milou told the City of Paris' official site which two spots no one should miss: the Palais de Tokyo, better known as "le Dôme", which he calls the city's legendary spot, and Bastille.

From there, the tour hits three stops:

  • Bastille: First up, and no surprise there. The square was renovated a couple of years ago and has become the city's go-to meet-up spot, where skaters warm up and link with friends before heading out into the streets.
  • Mongalet: Next, a big hubba, the kind of spot that gets more serious the closer you stand to it.
  • La Défense: The tour wraps up at the most famous spot in Paris, the business district everyone who's ever watched a Paris skate part will recognize.

Taking the show global

The first episode proved the format still works. This one shows where it can go. Swapping the Valley for the streets of Paris opens the door to a lot more than hometown pilgrimages in the US. Same recipe, though: a car, two skaters who know each other, and spots that actually mean something to the person riding shotgun.

Timing helps too. Milou is coming off another SLS Paris final, and SLS is already pointing fans toward SLS Tokyo. If the series keeps following the tour around the world, we're all for it. Next stop, Tokyo? If we can make our predictions: Yuto Horigome and/or Shay Sandiford. Horigome would be the obvious hometown pick: the two-time Olympic champion grew up skating the streets of Tokyo, and nobody could give Malto a better tour of the city. And to make sure nothing gets lost in translation, bring along Sandiford: the Canadian is a great skater in his own right, translates Japanese to English, and should be in town for SLS Tokyo anyway. Front seat, back seat, either way, we're watching.
