The PSL kicked off its inaugural season to a general success, despite some early camera hiccups.
Three matches, three different stories — and already a hint that the competition is going to be fiercer than expected.

Match #1 — Los Santos vs. SHS
A statement opening match for Los Santos. Ginwoo Onodera was the standout of the night, putting on a dominant performance that made him the clear MVP of the match.
On the SHS side, head coach P-Rod leaned heavily on substitutions throughout — a move that never seemed to pay off and left his team looking scattered.
The final score told the whole story: a total blowout in favor of Los Santos.

Match #2 — Tropics vs. Wolverines
The best match of the night, and it went all the way to overtime. Trevor Colden was the surprise MVP for the Tropics, keeping his team in it until the very end.
Ultimately, it was reigning SOTY Chris Joslin who stepped up for the Wolverines when it mattered most, sealing the win in overtime and reminding everyone why he took home that title.

Match #3 — Lithium vs. Soldiers
The Soldiers came out of the gate swinging, stringing together four consecutive landed tricks to open up a 5-0 lead in the first quarter. Lithium never recovered from that early hole.
A relatively quiet match overall, but the Soldiers' composure in the opening minutes made the difference. Worth noting — Nyjah Huston, announced as back for the season, was around but clearly not planning on using his board anytime soon.
A strong opening week for the PSL. The format held up, the competition was real, and the questions are already starting.
How long before Nyjah actually suits up and can anyone stop Joslin when the pressure is on?
