The panda is home: Louie Barletta takes back enjoi after a 3 years long legal battle
February 15th 2026
It took three years, a whole lot of legal muscle, and a love for skateboarding that corporate America simply couldn't extinguish — but the panda is officially back where it belongs.
On Valentine's Day 2026, Louie Barletta announced that enjoi Skateboards is back in his hands, capping off what has been one of the most emotional sagas in recent skate history. For anyone who grew up with a panda graphic under their feet, this one hits different.
How it all went wrong
In 2019, enjoi was sold to Highline Industries. By 2022, Barletta — the last of the original crew — had walked away from the brand, worn down by financial mismanagement and a team that was going unpaid. The culture that made enjoi special was quietly being hollowed out from the inside.
Things truly hit a breaking point when Barletta caught wind that the enjoi name was being lined up for scooters, roller skates, helmets, and rollerblades destined for Walmart shelves. For anyone with a panda tattoo or a stack of vintage decks in their closet, that news was nothing short of a gut punch.

Three years in the making
Rather than go loud and burn the brand down on his way out, Barletta played a careful long game. He deliberately kept his public comments minimal, not wanting to create a negative narrative that would damage enjoi's reputation in case he ever managed to reclaim it. Behind the scenes, he was fighting hard.
The announcement finally came on February 14, 2026 — Valentine's Day — with enjoi returning as a sister brand to his company Jacuzzi Unlimited. The timing felt entirely on purpose for a guy whose whole message has always been about love for the craft.

What comes next
Big developments are expected throughout 2026, with a renewed commitment to genuine skate culture at the core of everything. A Jacuzzi Unlimited / enjoi summer tour is already in the works, and boards are available now.
For the skate community, this isn't just a business transaction — it's a reminder that soul still matters.
The corpo bozos lost. The panda won. Welcome home, enjoi.
